To be saved simply means that you and your soul have received forgiveness, and protection from the judgment of God that is coming on
all those who have rebelled against the authority of the Most High God. There is coming a day when everyone who was born into the
world, or created will have to stand before the Throne of God, and give an account for the things that were done in their body. This Day
of Judgment is called the Great White Throne Judgment. Initially, this event was to judge satan, and all the angels that rebelled against
the Most High God. People who reject the salvation God is offering to mankind, and reject the commandments of God, have joined in on
the rebellion against the Most High Gods authority, and will join satan and his angels in judgment. To be saved means you will not have
to appear before the Great White Throne Judgment, to receive a sentence of eternal punishment.
Also, the Lord Jesus warns us of a time in human history, that will bring the greastest level of tribulation manking has ever seen. This
period is called The Great Tribulation. The Lord warns us who believe his report to pray, to be accounted worthy to escape the things
that are coming on the earth. This is a period where satan himself will be allowed by the Most High God to do whatever he wants on the
earth. Right now, the Most High God restrains satan, and demonic activity, because his people on still on the earth. Because of the
constant rejection of Gods word and Gods ways on this earth, by people who do not believe in God, or do not wish to obey his
commandmen, the Most High God will give the world what they are asking. Most People do not want God or his commandments in their
lives, so The Most High God will pull his people out of this world, and let the world have the big party they have always desired. The
problem with this, is that satan will still be here, and will have free access to kill, steal, and destroy, and will set out to take as many as
he can to judgment with him, to be condemned to eternal punishment for the rebellion he started against the Most High God. Those who
come under the protection of the Most High God, will be saved from these things.
Another way people are saved is in the life we live everyday. The Bible promises that those who believe the word of the Lord, and have
commited their lives to obeying his word, will be protected from many troubles in this life. This is a very dangerous world we live, and
there are many harmful things we face living in this world. Many people have lost their lives to murder, sickness, disease, car wrecks,
plane crashes, earthquakes, accidents, and on, and on, and on. The Most High God has made provisions to protect us from these
things, when we seek his ways on a daily basis. When you make the Lords ways your ways, you have access to this protection. When
you sincerely seek Gods ways, God sincerely seeks to make sure his word is covering your life. This is what it means to be saved. In
this life and in the life to come, we are saved from all things.
